Scaffolding down!
At last, after over a year covered in scaffolding and sheeting, the beautiful medieval gatehouse at Pentney is revealed in all its restored glory.
The building will be fitted out in the Spring so that it can be used as a venue for weddings or other celebrations. Although it will be comfortable, all the original features will be left in place, including the graffiti on the spiral staircase.
